Manchester United legend Eric Cantona is going on music tour, and the former United captain has stated that he will be performing live on stage.
Manchester United legend Eric Cantona is back in action – but not on a football pitch. The Frenchman icon who won four Premier League titles while playing for Old Trafford, has announced three performance dates where he will be singing and has now announced he is going on music tour.
The 57-year-old will perform six nights in October in Manchester, London, and Dublin.
‘Cantona Sings Eric’ is the name of the tour, which will kick off on October 26 at Stoller Hall in Manchester. From there, he will go south to London, where he will perform on October 28 at Bloomsbury Theatre in Camden.
On October 31, Cantona will wrap up his tour in Dublin at Liberty Hall.

Speaking in advance of a three-show tour, Cantona expressed his excitement about the possibility of competing in Manchester, albeit this time on a stage rather than a football field.
Cantona said: “Next year, I’ll be playing with a band, but for now, I’m starting with a modest piano to play alongside me in intimate venues.
The former Red Devils star wrote and composed all of the songs he performed, and his upcoming debut single is scheduled to be released on June 2 via Decca Records.
“I’ll be starting in Manchester because it’s a city that has stayed with me so much for the football, of course, but also the general atmosphere.”
Additionally, according to LiveNation, which will start selling tickets ahead of time for Cantona’s performances on May 31, attendees will see “Cantona bring his great passion for music to life through expression and live performance, which fans will not want to miss!”
