He hasn’t had that stretch,” added Boone.
Further asked about Giancarlo Stanton’s off-season plans, the Yankees skipper confirmed he is backing him wholeheartedly. He said that the team will try to get the slugger in the best place possible in the off-season as well as in the spring training. This means Giancarlo Stanton is not going anywhere in 2024. After all, he is still under contract for the next three seasons. Parting ways with him at this moment could prove to be a loss-making deal. Hence, the Yanks are probably stuck with the slugger till the end of his contract. On the other hand, Stanton still remains committed to the Bombers.
