£7 million striker has rejected a move to Saudi because he wants to join West Ham

AC Milan striker Divock Origi reportedly could be West Ham United bound this summer.

According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham target Divock Origi is not wanted by AC Milan and has just turned down a move to Saudi Arabia.

The reasoning for this is because the 28-year-old is keen to join the Hammers instead in the summer transfer window.

A recent report suggested that a move to the London Stadium was likely for the Belgian ex-Liverpool hitman this summer.

And with David Moyes desperately in need of a new striker, Origi joining West Ham before the transfer window closes certainly wouldn’t be a surprise…

Tuttomercatoweb reckon that the Belgium international is holding out for a move to the London Stadium this summer.

He’s allegedly available for just £7 million (Tuttomercatoweb) – incredible value really for a forward with such a proven track record.

Origi has a history of winning big trophies, including the Premier League and the Champions League, and he scored a goal for Liverpool against Tottenham in the final four years ago.

He is a hard-working forward and is always willing to make the tireless runs into the channels that Moyes absolutely loves his forward players to make.

Salary Sport claim that the former Liverpool forward earns around £87k-a-week at Milan – a figure that the Hammers will easily be able to match, and probably comfortably beat as well.

This really should be a fairly easy transfer to get done, if Moyes does in fact want to bring him to the London Stadium this summer.

And if Divock Origi is available for a reasonable fee – which he seemingly is – I actually think he’ll be a very strong addition for West Ham.

Attacking star West Ham allegedly made big verbal offer for set to have medical

An attacking star West Ham allegedly made a Big Verbal Offer for is set to have a medical but it’s bad news for David Moyes in a late twist.

Will he, won’t he, Elye Wahi – that’s been the question as West Ham have reportedly chased the exciting French striker of late.

West Ham fans are well used to long, protracted transfer sagas. Especially during this particularly strange summer transfer window.

Hammers supporters are also well aware their club is often used by players, agents and others clubs to generate interest or drive up prices and contracts.

And the latest falling into that category is the reported pursuit of Montpellier forward Wahi.

Frankfurt were said to have seen a bid rejected for the jet-heeled 20-year-old.

And just last night, amid competition from Lens, it was being reported in France that West Ham had met Montpellier’s asking price for Wahi with a verbal offer of £34m including add-ons.

But it sums up the media frenzy around West Ham’s window and the club’s dismal transfer conversion rate that fans will not one bit surprised to learn the move has gone in a completely different direction overnight.

Because the attacking star West Ham allegedly made a big verbal offer for is set to have medical but it’s bad news for David Moyes in a late Wahi twist.

Foot Mercato are reporting that Lens have reached an agreement to sign Wahi with Montpellier and the player. And the alleged West Ham target will now travel for a medical.

The report claims Wahi was “thrilled” at the prospect of joining West Ham. But it is claimed the collapse – for now at least – of West Ham’s potential £80m plus sale of Lucas Paqueta put paid to the move for Wahi.

Although Hammers News has been told by a senior source inside West Ham that interest in Wahi was only “fleeting”.

And it should be noted the move for Wahi was denied by a Hammers board confidant back on August 10th.

Moyes has been publicly championing Jarrod Bowen for the striker role at West Ham this season.

And West Ham remain in talks over a deal with Ajax for Mohammed Kudus – who can operate up front too.
