New Spyderco Endela Features Wharncliffe Blade

The Spyderco Endela folding knife will now be offered with a Wharncliffe blade. Size-wise, the Spyderco Endela splits the difference between the company’s Delica 4 and Endura 4 lightweights and includes all the features of those time-tested designs in the perfect in-between size.

This Spyderco Endela has 3.4-Inch Wharncliffe Blade

The latest version of this popular design supercharges its performance with the addition of a Wharncliffe blade profile. In classic style, its perfectly straight edge and gracefully curved spine merge to create an amazingly versatile blade shape that offers both extreme cutting power and scalpel-like precision.

This knife features a 3.4-inch blade of VG-10 stainless steel with a full, flat grind. The cutting edge is 2.99 inches and will be available in both plain edge and SpyderEdge (serrated) models. Naturally, the knife features Spyderco’s fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening. It is housed in an injection-molded, fiberglass-reinforced-nylon handle featuring skeletonized stainless steel liners, a sturdy back lock mechanism, a non-slip Bi-Directional Texture pattern, and a four-position pocket clip that offers a choice of tip-up or tip-down carry on both sides of the body.

The new Spyderco Endela Wharncliffe is available with either a plain edge or SpyderEdge (serrated) blade.

Good Balance of Size, Performance

We’ve used various models of the Delica and Endura for many years. The Endela, however, offers a bit more blade than the Delica, which has a 2.9-inch blade, without going as large as the Endura’s 3.75-inch blade.
