Cyriel Dessers got very good rating despite Rangers’ 2-1 defeat to rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership clash on Saturday.

The rating was done by football facts and statistics website, whoscored.com, via rangersnews.uk.

With Celtic 2-0 ahead, Dessers pulled a goal back with five minutes left to play in the first half.

It was Dessers’ 15th goal in 33 appearances in the Scottish topflight in his debut campaign.

However, it was not enough as Celtic held on to claim the three points over their rivals.

Following his impressive display for Rangers, Dessers got a seven out of 10 rating.

Rangers’ hopes of winning the league title now looks slim as they are six points behind Celtic with two games remaining.

Earlier in the season, Dessers helped Rangers win the Scottish League Cup.

They will have the opportunity to land another domestic Cup when they will face Celtic in the Scottish Cup final later this month.
