Premier League club Chelsea have added Victor Osimhen to their list of possible January targets.

Osimhen has been linked with a move away from Serie A champions Napoli following the TikTok video row involving him and the club.

Chelsea are in the market for a new striker and are already monitoring the Nigeria international and Brentford star Ivan Toney.

Napoli are hoping to tie their talismanic forward to a new contract but talks have slowed over the size of the release clause and the TikTok row.

The 24-year-old's contract will expire in June 2025.

Any refusal to sign a new deal will give Chelsea and other interested clubs fresh hope Osimhen can be prised away from Napoli when the transfer window reopens in January.

The striker played a key role in Napoli's title success last season.

Osimhen scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances for the Partenopei.

He has netted five times in 11 outings across all competitions for Rudi Garcia's side.
