Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson has won the 2022/23 Premier League’s Gamechanger of the Season Award.

The Gunners confirmed this with a photo of Nelson and the award on their X handle (formerly Twitter).

The award is in recognition of Nelson’s stoppage time winner against Bournemouth at the Emirates in March.

The goal saw Arsenal come from 2-0 down to win 3-2 as they continued their push in the title race.

However, Manchester City usurped Arsenal at the top of the log to emerge league champions.

Reacting to the award, Arsenal wrote: “Congrats, Reiss 👏.”

“Nelson’s last-gasp strike and performance against Bournemouth in March has won the 2022/23 Premier League’s Gamechanger of the Season award!“

Last season Nelson made 11 appearances and scored three goals in the Premier League.

This season he had made just one appearance for Mikel Arteta’s men.
