Top 10 Players of Golf

1. Jack Nicklaus, USA (1940)

Generally regarded as the world’s best golfer and is also one of the most outstanding victories in the four majors. A total of 18 times “The Golden Bear” rose to the top in the period 1962-1986. Already in 1966, he had achieved a so-called “Career Grand Slam,” which means he had won all four majors. Occasionally, it even appears that he won 20 majors, winning US Amateurs in 1959 and 1961. 3. Ben Hogan, USA (1912-1997)

It is with nine major wins in fourth place over those with the most wins in the four major tournaments annually. He probably would have grabbed a few more if the competitions had not put on standby during World War II. It is just one of five players to have won all four majors. He won the most victories in the US Open, which he won four times from 1948 to 1953. On the PGA Tour, he achieved 64 triumphs, and five times he was number one on the tour’s money list. 4. Bobby Jones, USA (1902-1971)

 He has the status of the most successful amateur player in history. 5. Arnold Palmer, USA (1929)

8. Walter Hagen, USA (1882-1969)
