What We Like
The Whitby native has already played 3 seasons in the OHL where he has demonstrated what it looks like to be a power forward! Gadjovich scored 46 goals this season while being expected to play with an edge for the Attack. His 32 penalty minutes is incredibly low for a player who is known as a gritty forward. Take a look at 16 year old Jonah taking on Brock Phillips.
What Concerns Us
At the end of the second round, players taken usually have one deficiency that keeps their draft stock down. In this case, it’s skating. Gadjovich appears to be a bit slower than what is necessary to be an NHL player right now. Once again, many players overcome this knock including our 2017 All-star Bo Horvat.

What’s Next
The big winger will also likely be a part of our Young Stars roster, and training camp before returning to Owen Sound for another season of growth.
