The Revival Teases Next Move and it isn’t AEW

Even before WWE released The Revival’s Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder earlier this month, fans have been glamouring about the possibility of the talented duo heading to greener pastures.

The ideal destination, most assumed, would be All Elite Wrestling. There, the duo could have incredible matches with teams like The Young Bucks, SCU, The Best Friends, Proud and Powerful, Private Party, The Lucha Bros, and the current tag team champions, Hangman Page and Kenny Omega.

Also, they wouldn’t ever, for any reason, have to dress like this…

In a move that shouldn’t be particularly surprising, however, the former Wilder (now going by the name Cash Wheeler) posted three simple letters in response to a tweet put out by the resurgent National Wrestling Alliance.

The post was a simple call to action, encouraging fans to post which tag team they thought would be worthy as holding the prestigious Crockett Cup.

Wheeler’s response — “FTR” — immediately got the internet buzzing.

Perhaps no team in modern wrestling better embodies the spirit of the classic NWA better than the former Revival. As such, it makes complete sense for the throwback tandem to have a run in the promotion.

Would you prefer to see “FTR” in AEW, NWA, or somewhere else? Let us know in the comments below.
