Tamara won the set after she broke Lys 3 times in the 3rd (2-1), in the 5th (4-1) and in the 9th (6-3) game. Eva tried to stage a comeback breaking in the 8th (5-3) game. Yet, Tamara stayed solid to conquer the set 6-3.

There was an important spell in this set when Tamara won 4 consecutive games in the 2nd set so as to change the score from 1-1 to 5-1.

Tamara was unerring in converting all her break points in the 3rd (1-1 30-40), the 5th (3-1 0-40) and the 9th game (5-3 30-40). On the other side, Eva converted 20% of her break points (1/5). She had her opportunities in the 8th game (2-5 0-40, 15-40, 30-40, 40-A and 40-A).
