The Indiana Fever are off to an 0-4 start in the 2024 WNBA season. However, a little understanding is warranted there. The Fever have played the Connecticut Sun twice and the New York Liberty twice, with their first four games all coming against top-three teams in the WNBA. Here, the Fever will hope that a game against a Storm team that is having similar struggles will be what they need to get into the win column for the first time this season.

For the Fever, getting more out of Aliyah Boston is going to be more important than anything Caitlin Clark-related for them at the moment. Boston is averaging just 9.5 points per game to start the season, a far cry from her All-Star caliber numbers a season ago. This is something that should correct itself as the season goes on and the Fever play teams that are not Connecticut and New York, but that needs to start with tonight for Indiana to get their season turned around.

Seattle Storm

The Seattle Storm were expected to be a championship contender going into the 2024 WNBA season. But they have won just one of their first four games and have looked like a team that is not on the same page as well. Seattle is coming off of a loss to the Liberty on Monday, which dropped them to 1-3 on the year, but some returning players could help Seattle get a much-needed win at home on Wednesday night in this Fever vs Storm clash.

Nneka Ogwumike has missed the last two games with an ankle injury that she suffered on Friday against the Minnesota Lynx. She has been upgraded to questionable for this contest. Meanwhile, Nika Muhl is probable after a visa issue kept her out of action. Muhl’s on-ball defense against Caitlin Clark was a factor in the Women’s Final Four game between UConn and Iowa this year and could be a factor tonight if she sees any sort of significant action.
