Bulls vs Heat Player Prop #1: Tyler Herro Under 25.5 Points (-120)
First on our list of Bulls vs Heat props is the under for Tyler Herro’s points, which is set at 25.5 points. Herro is going to be the focal point of the Miami offense tonight, due to Jimmy Butler’s knee injury keeping him out of this win or go home game. But that might not be a good thing for the Heat, as it will allow the Bulls to key in on Herro throughout this contest.
There is also the question of shot selection from Herro, which can be questionable at times even when Butler is on the floor to run the show for the Heat. Without many elite offensive options around Herro tonight, he could fire up some ugly shots and help the Bulls’ chances of winning this game, all while keeping his point total under 25.5.
Bulls vs Heat Player Prop #2: Alex Caruson Over 1.5 Threes (-135)
We like Alex Caruso to go over his made threes total in this game, which is set at 1.5. The Heat play a lot of zone, something we saw work in their favor in the first half against the 76ers on Wednesday, but work against them in the second half. In that game, Nicolas Batum hit five threes in the second-half to help the Sixers advance to the first round of the playoffs. We expect to see shooters like Caruso have a similar impact tonight for Chicago.
For the season, Caruson has shot just under 41% from three-point range. He also made two of his three attempts from long distance against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, despite missing some time in that game due to injury. As long as Caruso plays in this game, he should get enough long-range looks to make two or more threes in a game we think the Bulls can win outright as an underdog on the road.
