This offseason was an active one for the Milwaukee Bucks, as they turned their roster upside down to pair Damian Lillard with Giannis Antetokounmpo. One has to wonder how replacing Jrue Holiday with Lillard will impact the Bucks defensively. But one thing is for sure, and that is the fact that the Bucks will be difficult to defend with Giannis and Lillard on the floor at the same time.
Positives & Negatives
The biggest positive for the Bucks coming into this season is the fact that they have so many scoring options in crunch time situations. The trio of Giannis, Lillard, and Khris Middleton will create matchup nightmares for a team that struggled late in games down the stretch last season.
With that said, there are some serious concerns about the ability of the Bucks to get stops on defense late in games this coming season. While Antetokounmpo is an elite defender and athlete, he is joined on this roster by a bad defender in Lillard and a player in Middleton whose presence on the court is not always a given. It will be interesting to see how this team overcomes that concern as this season wears on.

It is one of the more square season win total bets that we will make this season, but we will take the over for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2023-24 season. Milwaukee’s offense will be hard for most opponents to match, and the Bucks should take advantage of declines for teams like the 76ers and Bulls in the Eastern Conference. It is entirely possible that this team hits the 60-win mark in the regular season, though we are less convinced about their ability to win a title.
