Positives & Negatives
The Pelicans have several pieces who can help make them a contender in the 2023-24 season. The trio of Ingram, McCollumn, and Valanciunas can all do things on the floor that winning teams need. If they can get anything consistent out of Williamson, this Pelicans team could be a real thorn in the side of some of the top teams in the Western Conference.
However, getting something out of Williamson has proven to be a huge problem for the Pelicans, as he struggles to stay healthy and in-shape. All of his physical issues have prevented Williamson from adding some much-needed elements to his game, such as a jump shot, and there is no guarantee he will stay on the court to be able to add to his repertoire.
