Dallas Stars center Max Domi tallied two goals and an assist in a 6-3 victory against the Seattle Kraken in Game 4 of the Western Conference 2nd Round at Climate Pledge Arena on Tuesday. The series is now tied 2–2.

The Stars came to this game more determined after losing 7-2 in Game 3 and trailing 2-1 behind.

“We know what happened last game wasn’t good enough [Game 3 loss on Sunday], and I think as a whole we had everyone going and everyone bounced back nice,” Domi said, as per NHL official website.

“I just think everyone was hungrier than the last game, and it showed. Everyone wanted to win every battle out there and win every puck, and I think everyone did that.”

With only one thing in mind, to even the series, the whole squad was united, and players stepped up in Game 4. Jamie Benn, Roope Hintz and Thomas Harley also contributed one goal and one assist each for Dallas.

Benn put the Stars ahead 1-0 on a power play at 17:13 of the first period after he received a pass from Hintz.

Harley then scored to make it 2-0 at 4:46 of the second period. He took a pass from Domi and immediately shot the puck over Kraken goaltender Philipp Grubauer’s right shoulder.

“I’d love to say I aimed it, but [I] just tried to shoot as quick as I could and it went in,” Harley said.

After Harley’s goal, the Stars dominated throughout the game and even led 4-0 during the second period, with Joe Pavelski scoring Dallas’ fourth goal of the night and his sixth goal of the series for the Stars.

Jaden Schwartz took one for the Kraken, but Hintz added one more for Dallas as they finished the second period with a 5-1 lead.

In the third period, Seattle tried to catch up with Schwartz’s second goal and Adam Larsson’s to make it 5-3, but Domi sealed the victory for the Stars with an empty-net goal at 17:39 for the 6-3 final.

After the game, Harley reflected on what happened in Game 3 and got his revenge on this game.

“We got out-competed, out-battled in Game 3, and that was the big thing coming into tonight was that we cannot let that happen again,” The 21-year-old said. “We got what we deserved in Game 3, and we out-competed them tonight and got the win.”

Game 3 was a game to forget for Dallas defenseman Miro Heiskanen. The 23-year-old had to be stitched up after the puck hit his face during the second period on Sunday. He had to be taken to the locker room to receive medical assistance.

Heiskanen shared what was on his mind after the devastating Game 3 loss for the Stars.

“Of course, I can hear the goal horn,” the Finnish international said. “It’s kind of [a] bad feeling when you are laying on the table and can’t do much there. But it’s part of the game. Luckily, it wasn’t too bad and too serious.”

Heisnaken returned to witness Dallas’ Game 4 victory as he finished the game with one assist and played 31:02. He did not want to rush things just yet.

“We didn’t want to take any risks,” Heiskanen said. “Probably if that was a little tighter game, I probably had a chance to come back.”
