Oregon State vs Washington Betting Preview

Pac-12 after dark comes to Friday night when the Oregon State Beavers (6-2, 3-2 in Pac-12) visit the Washington Huskies (6-2, 3-2). Oregon State is currently fifth in the Pac-12 but are just one game back of second place and a spot in the championship game. Oregon State vs Washington Prediction

Last time out, Oregon State hosted lowly Colorado and easily beat them 42-9. Oregon State had no problem in this one as they led 7-0 after the first quarter and 21-3 at the half. The Beavers went on a 21-0 scoring run, between the second and third quarters, to take complete control of the game. Ben Gulbranson went 14/22 for 202 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions on the day. Damien Martinez ran the ball 22 times for 178 yards, an 8.1 average, and three touchdowns in the win. Defensively, Oregon State allowed 290 total yards and forced four Colorado turnovers, two interceptions and two recovered fumbles.

Washington visited California and left with a tight 28-21 win. The Huskies led 6-0 after the first quarter, but an exciting second quarter saw this game tied up at 14 at the half. Nothing happened in the third quarter, but Washington woke up and scored 14 quick points to start the fourth and were able to hold off Cal late. Michael Penix Jr. went 36/51 for 374 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions on the day. Jalen McMillan had eight receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown in the win. Defensively, Washington allowed 306 total yards and did not force any Cal turnovers.

Series History: Oregon State won the meeting last season, 27-24, but Washington still leads the all-time series 37-35-4.

Pick: This Oregon State team has been different since making the QB change, but Seattle is a tough place to go. I like Washington to win by a field goal.
