After falling out of European football, Leicester face many question marks this season. The biggest one being if their star striker Jamie Vardy will be around for the full season or if he will depart from the club in the transfer market and say goodbye to his storybook time spent with the Foxes. 

Vardy featured in Leicester’s 2-2 draw against Brentford. However, he failed to score on the day and you have to wonder if the questions surrounding his future were a factor. 

According to the Daily Mail, Leicester are close to a new deal to keep Vardy around for at least one more season. Still – even with Vardy around at 35 years of age – it looks like the best days are behind Leicester and a mid-table fate is imminent for manager Brendan Rodgers and his squad.
