There is not much to look into in this game as I was not aware that Long Island University even had a football team. West Virginia used three QBs that combimed to go 20/32 for 344 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. The Mountaineers did struggle running the ball as they totaled 198 yards and five touchdowns on 55 yards, an average o 3.6 per rush. Defensively, the Mountaineers allowed just 95 yards and recovered one Sharks fumble.

Virginia Tech vs West Virginia Series History: One of the better rivalries in college football, this will be the first meeting since 2017, and West Virginia leads the all-time series 28-23-1.
