With the Manchester City Champions League ban fifth place in the Premier League will get into next seasons Champions League, so Everton are still very alive. Everton are just five points back of fifth place Manchester United and they can really help their chances with three wins on Sunday. The Premier League is the only competition that Everton is left in this season.
Manchester United enter this weekend in fifth place and occupying the final Premier League Champions League spot. It is going to be a tight race as United may be in fifth, but they are eight points up of 12th place Southampton. United are busy in other competitions as they await their draw in the Europa League Round of 16 and face Derby in the FA Cup Round of 16.

Everton saw their, slight, Champions League hopes take a hit last weekend as the Toffees fell 3-2 at Arsenal. The Toffees opened up the scoring in the first minute of the game, but eventually found themselves trailing 2-1 near the end of the first half. Richarlison tied the game up in the fourth minute of the first half stoppage time, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored in the first minute of the second half to give Arsenal the final advantage in the game. The loss snapped Everton’s two game winning streak and five game unbeaten streak. Everton is a top six home team in England as they have won 24 points thanks to a 7-3-3 record.
Manchester United entered the second leg of their Europa League clash leveled at one, against Club Brugge, but brushed aside the Belgian club to advance to the Round of 16. Club Brugge went a man down in the 23rd minute and it was all United after that as they scored three first half goals, and added two more late in the second half, to come away with the easy win. United have now won two games in a row and extended their unbeaten run to seven games overall. Manchester United are a mid-table road club this season having won just 15 points thanks to a 4-3-6 record.
Series History: These two clubs first met back in 1892, and have met 201 times since, with Manchester United holding a slight 88-44-70 advantage.
Soccer Prediction: I think this one is going to be tight and I am backing a draw at +230 Sunday.
