Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka recently reached the semifinals in Montreal where she lost to Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic in two sets. This was Sabalenka’s second loss to Karolina this season, the first time this year she was defeated by Pliskova in the Wimbledon semi-finals. In spite of all these defeats, Aryna is on the higher step of the WTA rankings, she is no.3 and Karolina is no.6.

Aryna Sabalenka, who updated her record in the WTA rankings, talked about her tattoo of a tiger on her left forearm.
“It’s nothing special – I was born in the year of the tiger, and sometimes on the court I need a reminder of how they fight to the end. So I put it on my arm so I can always see it and be on fire.” – said Sabalenka.

Fans asked the Belarusian tennis player if she wants to get another tattoo. They say no one stops at one.
“That’s exactly why I’m not going to hit the second one. The thought of the second one slips through my mind, but I don’t want to end up all blue!” – answered Aryna.

Soon No.3 of the WTA rankings, Aryna Sabalenka will fight for the trophy at a tournament in Cincinnati. She will play against the winner of the match between the experienced Croatian Petra Martic and the Spanish tennis player, the quarterfinalist of the Tokyo Olympics Paula Badosa. Sabalenka’s best result at this tournament was a semifinal in 2018. Then the Belarusian lost to Simona Halep in two sets.
