After missing the IPL action for one season in 2022 Ishant Sharma made a very well comeback against Kolkata Knight Riders in Delhi where he took 2 wickets and completed his spell with a very good economy. Ishant was awarded the Player of the Match award for his performance. Ishant played only a few games in IPL 2021 for Delhi where he was dropped after his expensive spells but what a comeback, he made in IPL 2023.
