Liverpool have enjoyed a thoroughly successful past month as they moved top of the Premier League.
Despite their gap at the top being cut to four points by Manchester City, Jurgen Klopp’s side have been in fine form this season.
Now, stats have emerged as to how Klopp managed to keep his side going strong in the title race despite injuries to key players.

At the start of December, defending champions Manchester City sat top of the table, with the Reds five points adrift.
Both clubs entered the final month of 2018 undefeated this season, but following the close of the year that was all set to dramatically change.
Throughout the month, Liverpool suffered four Key Injuries, with Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip and James Milner all missing games.

However, such has been the impressive nature of Klopp’s side this season, the Reds overcame these key injuries to move top.
During that period, The Reds won seven, netted 23 goals and conceded just four.
Aside from the defeat to City on Thursday, the Reds will be delighted with their form over the past month, with the Premier League title race continuing to hot-up.
