Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, who withdrew from England duty last month, returned to action from injury against Manchester City. However, his fitness remains a question mark for tonight’s clash against Luton Town.

His absence from the recent England squad was due to a minor muscle injury, manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed. “Saka wasn’t with the national team because he was injured,” Arteta explained.

While Saka did feature in Arsenal’s last game vs Man City, Mikel Arteta opted for a cautious substitution. “He trained very little, then he played and we had to take him off because the risk of reinjuring the player was pretty high,” Arteta said. “You have to manage a player like Bukayo”.
