Reports from Turkey suggest that Arsenal are making progress in their pursuit of Sacha Boey from Galatasaray.

Turkiye Gazetesi reports that the Gunners have escalated their pursuit and are resolute in their mission to secure the transfer.

According to the report, Arsenal’s bid is nearing the €20 million mark, which falls just shy of Galatasaray’s original asking price of €25 million. Galatasaray has reportedly deemed the bid insufficient. However, negotiations remain on the table as the club aims to secure a transfer fee exceeding €20 million.

With an eagerness to seize the opportunity, Arsenal are expected to ramp up their efforts in finalising the deal. According to sources, Boey is said to be interested in the move, provided that the conditions meet his expectations.

The potential competition from Brighton & Hove Albion may prompt Arsenal to expedite the process, as they too are reportedly interested in signing the player.

Galatasaray’s acquisition of Boey from Rennes for a mere €1.15 million a few years ago has proven to be a wise investment, as the club is now poised to reap substantial profits from his potential transfer to Arsenal or another team.
