In less than a year’s time, Yokkao Next Generation Kids has grown rapidly to become the leading junior Muay Thai promotion. The event series give junior fighters in UK a platform to test and showcase their skills in the ring. YOKKAO and the promoters have gone all out in organizing world-class shows to rival the top professional events.
The support rendered by the young competitors, gyms, families and fans are also a key to the success. Every single Next Generation Kids event to date has received an overwhelming turnout. With the encouraging response from the UK Muay Thai community, YOKKAO has just announced 6 new dates for 2019!
The Next Generation Kids initiative has grown increasingly global with young competitors coming to take part from different countries. Other than hosting countries England and Scotland, the shows have received signups from across Europe including Italy, France, Sweden, Holland, Ireland, Spain and Cyprus.
Besides the 6 newly-added shows for 2019 in the UK, YOKKAO recently announced that the young talent-search global initiative will take its expansion to Italy. The inaugural Italian YOKKAO Next Generation Kids has been confirmed for 27th January at the 5000-capacity Palaruffini arena in Turin, Italy. It won’t be long before the event grows to include more countries around the world.
YOKKAO Next Generation Kids is clearly here to stay, shaping the future of Muay Thai and providing the platform for the rising stars of the sport. The 6 YOKKAO Kids shows for 2019 will continue to be held at Barnsley Metrodome in England and Grangemouth Sports Complex in Scotland. In the meantime, remember to support the next event which will take place this month on 21st July at Barnsley Metrodome.
