Tyson Fury fans fear for his health after 10stone weight loss is revealed in shock photo ahead of weekend title clash

TYSON Fury fans are fearing for his health after his drastic weight loss was revealed in a shock new photo.

The Gypsy King has shed some 10st – the equivalent of Ricky Hatton – for his heavyweight showdown with Deontay Wilder this weekend.

But a selfie of Fury posing with fellow boxer Mark Barriga was picked up by supporters as an example of Fury's drastic cut possibly going too far.

Fury, who stands 6ft 9ins, towers over 5ft 2ins Barriga, but looks narrow in the shoulders and especially the waist, even when compared to his mini-flyweight friend.

Wilder is regarded as arguably the most powerful puncher in the world so Brit Fury will need a solid base to withstand any hits.

And it was fear over that which led some fans to question whether his weight loss was simply too much.

Another commented: "Fury looking really slim, worryingly slim."

And another said simply: "Looks drained."

Fury – who has been joined by wife Paris in the States – piled on the pounds during his dark days by necking 20 pints of lager a night with whiskey and vodka.

He gorged on pizza, kebabs and packs of chocolate, reaching a colossal 28st.

But 18 months of hard work, dieting and relentless gym work have turned him into half the man he was – physically at least.

British legend Lennox Lewis is not concerned by his weight loss, saying Fury will join the likes of Muhammad Ali and George Foreman if he beats Wilder.

And Fury's namesake Mike Tyson reckons the 30-year-old has what it takes to rip the WBC title from Wilder's grasp.
