Klopp, Ten Hag or Arteta, who can stop Guardiola's City from 4th straight title?

With Manchester City peeling away at the top, which of these three men has what it takes to stop Pep Guardiola's moving train? (Photo credit: GOAL)

Our favorite show on TV, the English Premier League, is back this weekend after the infamous international break, and we’re excited for the drama ahead.

The big question remains the plausibility of Manchester City being dethroned by anyone at all; Arsenal tried in vain last season, the same way Liverpool did many times in the past, although the Kops were successful in the pandemic year. But, right now, is there anyone capable of stopping the champions?

It’s a hell of a time for the other half of Manchester. The sexual assault pandemic reigns supreme, and Manchester United has released more club statements this season than wins and beyond banter. You would be sorry for the Red Devils.

After Mason Greenwood was sent to Getafe to reclaim some confidence, Manchester United has announced that Anthony will not be part of the first team for now, at least, until he clears the sexual assault allegations against him.

How do you want to challenge for the title with on and off-field issues? Erik Ten Hag must feel unlucky after learning of Anthony’s situation right after the summer transfer window slammed shut. Where does he go from here?

To make matters worse. Jadon Sancho has refused to apologize for his reactive disposition to the comments of the manager after being left out of the squad that traveled and lost to Arsenal, he will no longer train with the first team.

Liverpool is beginning to tick. The Kops rallied against Bournemouth and rightly condemned Aston Villa to defeat before the break. Jurgen Klopp seems to have found a creative way to get results, but is this newfound refreshment sustainable?

Dominik Szoboslai is the man doing the tinkering in midfield, and Alexis Mac Allister is doing his bit to help him in that regard, but do they have what it takes to take the fight to the champions? With the Europa League set to start next week, how well will they challenge for the title?

Brighton will flatter to deceive, but inexperience will ask them questions later. West Ham is firing on all cylinders now, but can they respond to the test when it comes? Newcastle isn’t what they showed last season; can the Champions League help them find inspiration?

Step forward With the unfortunate incident that ruled Jurien Timber out for the rest of the season and Kai Havertz seeking confidence, will Declan Rice inspire the team to greatness? Manchester City is asking questions; can Arsenal answer?
