Pochetino to return to Spurs?

The Athletic is convinced that Mauricio Pochettino wants to return to Tottenham and in actual fact, he has reached out to Daniel Levy to convey his interests.

It will be some strange U-Turn considering he was fired amidst poor results and felt cheated especially being a development that came after he led the team to the finals of the champions league.

Pochettino has won two domestic trophies since joining PSG but missed out on the league title as Lille stood firm till the very end, the question is why would he leave a promising career at PSG where he has all the money and talents to work with for uncertainties at Tottenham?

Thiago Silva gets one year extension

Brazilian center back Thiago Silva will get a one-year extension to his Chelsea contract that expires this summer.

Thiago Silva limped off in the first half of the champions league final and was replaced with Andreas Christensen but his performance all through the season has earned him an extension.

Thiago Silva was credited with the defensive organization and confidence to the younger ones in the squad, he worked with Thomas Tuchel at PSG and the relationship is set to continue for another year with the defender ready for an extension.

Christophe Galtier to Real Madrid?

There are so many talks in the media on the successor of Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid with Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino and a possible return for Julian Lopetegui touted by some but it looks like the man that pipped PSG to the Ligue 1 title is the man wanted by the Los Blancos.

Rumours have it that Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez has met with Galtier and has assured him of his backing, this will be interesting considering the fact the Perez’s first choice Maximiliano Allegri has signed for Juventus.

Achraf Hakimi to PSG gathers pace

Look away Arsenal fans, Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi has been rumoured to have agreed a five-year contract with PSG after it became clear that Inter Milan will sanction a clear out to fund transfers.

The former Real Madrid right-back excelled at the San Siro, helping Inter to their first title since 2010 and ending Juventus’ stronghold on the league.

With funding being the least of worries at the Parc des Princes, the signing of Hakimi won’t drag for long.
