According to various reports in England, Jose Mourinho is a strong favourite to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham.
Mourinho is yet to find a club since being sacked by Manchester United last year December. Spurs parted ways with Pochettino on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, one of the bookies are tipping RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann to take over at Tottenham but that is unlikely to happen.
Leipzig are enjoying a good start to the season, sitting in second in the Bundesliga and top of their Champions League group.
Reports suggest that it will be hard to convince the German club to let their manager go as Leipzig had to wait for a year for him to join from Hoffenheim before the commencement of the season.
Bayern Munich and Manchester United are also interested in the 32-year old manager.
So, it's looking like Jose Mourinho will take over at Tottenham.
Daniel Levy would want to think this through as Mourinho relies on spending big to build his team while the Tottenham chairman is a very prudent businessman.

Can see why Mourinho would want to go to Spurs. He likes working for owners who hate big transfer fees and don't sell players the manager wants rid of.— Paul Hayward (@_PaulHayward) November 19, 2019
It is ZERO surprise to me that Mourinho would take the Spurs job.— Alex Goldberg (@AlexGoldberg_) November 19, 2019
As a Chelsea fan I will always appreciate what he did for the club, but the man’s ego completely prevents him from having any sort of loyalty.
I truly think he’s dusted in this game anyway, so I’m fine w/ it.
Jose Mourinho thought Ed Woodward didn’t back him in the transfer market. Ain’t seen nothing yet. pic.twitter.com/MLPU0CJISQ— Paddy Power (@paddypower) November 19, 2019
Apropos of nothing, Mourinho to Spurs is the only move that would make the feelings of Chelsea fans towards him even more complicated— Liam Twomey (@liam_twomey) November 19, 2019
Tottenham are considering José Mourinho as new manager, after sacking Pochettino. And José would be open to start a discussion with Spurs. Daniel Levy will decide on next hours. ⚪️ #THFC #Tottenham #Spurs #Pochettino— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) November 19, 2019

We tried to warn you. Eric Dier let loose from the shackles of Trophyless managers would tear the Premier League apart. Dier under Jose Mourinho should be illegal.

If Spurs seriously have bought into the Mourinho bullshit, they'll get their LCup or FACup.

And a blockage in the talent coming through Spurs Lodge, a manager who'll throw kids under the bus when they have a poor game, a massive wage bill and a downgrade in style.
Dreadful.
