Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-min will not be participating in a 'compulsory' military duty for South Korea after helping his country to win the Asian Games football final.

An Asian Games gold medal, along with an Olympic medal, is the only way a South Korean can avoid a Military call-up.
