There were plenty of positives in Manchester United’s best pre-season performance so far as they beat Arsenal 2-0.
A worrying development, however, will be the condition of Amad, who left the stadium on Crutches after suffering an apparently serious injury during the match.

Amad was substituted at half-time, but just 10 minutes later he fell to the ground with no one around.
Unable to walk, he was assisted to the back by a physiotherapist. He later emerged on crutches and with heavy straps around his ankles.
It looks like he sprained his ankle, as no one was around when he fell, so it was a non-contact injury.
Depending on the severity of the torsion, recovery time can range from 3-4 weeks to two months if the ligament is damaged,
It’s a huge blow to Amad, who is in the biggest pre-season of his career.
Fans have been delighted to see what he can do in a United shirt after leading Sunderland to the Championship title, and he has been in fine form in pre-season.
The foundation could have been laid for him to become a regular part of the first team. However, it now appears that he is only likely to return once the game starts.
Meanwhile, the potential arrival of a forward will further hamper offensive competition.
In his absence, Facundo Pellistri was replaced, who showed some good touch with a late shot over the bar.
United want Amad to recover quickly so a decision can be made on his future, with the injured player also unable to pass a medical for a potential loan move.
