The Gunners Take on Relegation-Threatened Bournemouth | Team News, Injury Updates and Predicted Line-up – Arsenal vs Bournemouth

Arsenal will host relegation-threatened Bournemouth at the Emirates on Saturday, seeking their fourth consecutive Premier League win to maintain control of their Premier League title aspirations. The Gunners extended their lead after a 4-0 victory over Everton. In contrast, Bournemouth’s last game ended in a 4-1 defeat to second-placed Manchester City.

Despite some additions in January, the Cherries yet to see results, with post-World Cup points and goals tally being the lowest in the Premier League. Arsenal have re-established a five-point lead over Man City at the top of the table and will look to extend it further.

Injury/Suspension List:

Gabriel Jesus and Mohamed Elneny are still recovering from knee injuries and won’t be available against the Cherries. However, Jesus is now training with the ball at his feet and could return later this month. Eddie Nketiah may be benched for the third game in a row due to a recent knock, while Leandro Trossard continues to take full advantage.

Thomas Partey could return to the first XI after a solid performance against Everton. Kieran Tierney, Emile Smith Rowe, and Fabio Vieira are also pushing for inclusion given the quick run of games.

Bournemouth suffered a triple injury blow with Matias Vina, Junior Stanislas, and Marcus Tavernier – all missing out against Arsenal. Lloyd Kelly and Lewis Cook are also unlikely to take part against the Gunners. Ilya Zabarnyi and David Brooks are long-term absentees.

Player To Watch Out For – Dominic Solanke

One of Solanke’s key skills is his ability to hold up the ball and link up play with his teammates. He has a good first touch and is able to bring others into the game with clever flicks and passes. This ability allows his team to maintain possession in the attacking third and create goal-scoring opportunities.

Solanke is also a clinical finisher, with the ability to score goals from different positions and with both feet. He has a keen eye for goal and is always looking to get into good positions to score. He is also a good header of the ball, able to time his jumps well to meet crosses and set pieces.

The 25-year-old also has good pace and acceleration, which he uses to beat defenders and get in behind the opposition’s backline. Overall, Solanke is a well-rounded striker with a combination of technical, tactical, and physical abilities that make him a valuable player on the pitch.

Predicted Score:

Arsenal 2-0 Bournemouth

After thrashing Everton 4-0 at home, Arsenal will be confident against Bournemouth, another relegation-threatened side. They are back to their free-flowing best and have won each of their last eight games against newly-promoted sides in the Premier League.

Despite the defeat against City, Bournemouth’s performance was admirable, and the visiting boss may stick with the defence-heavy setup to stop rampant attacks from the North London side’s forwards.
