Time And Date For The First El Clasico Of The 2017/18 Season Confirmed And It's An Unusual Scheduling

Spanish giants, Barcelona and Real Madrid have again resumed hostilities this season and the fans are bracing up for another round.

Real Madrid have begin the race to defend their league title while Barcelona would want to defend their Copa del Rey crown and also win the league title this time around.

Both teams already met this season in the Spanish Super Cup which was the first official game of the season. Real Madrid came out victorious in that contest.

Barcelona now know when they the chance to get back at their fierce rivals as LaLiga chief, Javier Tebas, has confirmed the date of their next match in December.

Speaking on Spanish radio Onda Cero, The LaLiga chief, Tebas said the game would be played at the Santiago Bernanebu on Saturday, December 23.

Kick off time: 13:00 Spanish local time.

The FIFA Club World Cup kicks off from December 6 to 16 in the United Arab Emirates.

But Real Madrid would not participate in the tournament until the semi-finals stage which would be on December 13.

And their participation in the Club World up played a big part in the scheduling of the game.

The match would be the week 17 round of fistures and other LaLiga teams would be playing three or two days earlier in midweek on December 20 and 21.
