According to Goal, Barcelona forward Lionel Messi is all set to sign a new contract with the club after he returns from his honeymoon.
Messi just got married to his long-term partner Antonella Roccuzzo last Friday and would return to Barcelona on July 12th, after which he is expected to sign a new Deal at the Camp Nou in the next few days.
Messi's current Contract with Barcelona expires in 2018, and he agreed to a new deal with the Catalan giants after few months of negotiations.
The Argentine would be signing a new four-year deal, with the option of an extension for a year, this new deal would see him become the world’s highest-paid player, with wages more than £19m a year after tax.
