Should we expect a boring Tournament with no surprises or teams who are considered as lesser ones will make impact at the World Cup? Could some sides like Spain for example slip and become the disappointment of the tournament?
Russia vs Saudi Arabia
Russians have some top class players, but they have not really impressed in their pre World Cup tournaments and friendly games. I don’t think that the Russian players have enough confidence and I believe that they will be under pressure at the beginning of the game. They are better side that Saudi Arabians. They have a very experienced manager in the like of Juan Antonio Pizzi, however. Pizzi managed Chilean team who won Copa America in 2016, but failed unfortunately his team fell behind Peru on goal difference in the Word Cup 2018 qualifications.
if Russian manage to score first they will probably win the game.

Egypt vs Uruguay
I belive that the Uruguayans should be winning their opening game at the tournament. They have an impressive team and I would not be surprised if they win all there game in their group. Egypt will be without Mohamed Salah and despite that they are a good side, Urugways are good good and too experienced team for them.
Uruguay to win: 3:1
Morocco v Iran
The Moroccans have more high profile players than Iran. Iranians will be without one of the players who was a regular starter in the qualifications, the 21-year-old Saeid Ezatolahi. He will miss the game due to suspension. Morrocans.

Portugal v Spain
Spain are obviously the better team, but Portuguese have enough quality in their squad to win this fixture. Spain are one of the favorites to win the World Cup. Their squad is very balanced and they have competition in every position. However, the announcement that the manager Julen Lopetegui is taking on Real Madrid after the tournament and his subsequent dismissal could be a huge distraction for the team. Why did Lopetegui choose the worst possible timing to announce he is taking the managerial post in Los Blancos? Real Madrid board has obviously chosen the club in front of their country.
The Spanish football federation acted and replaced immediately Lopetegui a by popular figure in the Spanish and word football. the new coach who will lead the team in Russia is Fernando Hierro. Hierro has played 439 times for Real Madrid and scored 102 goals for them, but this will mean nothing at the Word Cup. Based on the mess in the Spanish camp, I’ll tip Portugal to either draw or win this fixture.
