Now that Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine have confirmed their next collaboration “TROLLZ” is arriving on Friday (June 12), Twitter has had a chance to weigh in — and not everybody is jumping for joy.
On Wednesday (June 10), Black Barbie shared two photos of their “TROLLZ” video shoot to her Instagram page and noted she would be donating some of the proceeds to The Bail Project, Inc.
“A portion of the proceeds from #Trollz including merch items, will be going directly to The Bail Project Inc.,” she wrote in the caption.
“We want to protect and support the thousands of brave people working on the front lines of social justice, using their voices to demand AN END to the targeting and killing of Black Americans by the police.
Evidently, a lot of people not only took issue with the word “portion” but also the fact Nicki would collaborate with someone with a reputation like 6ix9ine.
Subsequently, he agreed to turn government witness in an effort to receive a lighter sentence, earning the nickname “Snitch9ine” in the process.
