Washington State senior defensive back Bryce Beekman has passed away.
When they arrived at the apartment belonging to Beekman, they found the Cougars football star unresponsive.
"We are in shock with the news of Bryce's passing," WSU athletic director Pat Chun said in a statement.
"Bryce was a tremendous young man, great teammate and will be missed by all.
As the news spread around The Palouse, teammates, fans, and those who knew Beekman also took to social media.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Beekman's family, his teammates, and Washington State University.
