CONCACAF Champions League wrap: Atlanta draws, LAFC falls

Tags: Borussia Dortmund , Champions League , Neymar , Paris Saint-Germain , Ba , Pote Manchester City has come out swinging, making it abundantly clear the club will be fighting the Financial Fair Play charges from UEFA with everything it has.

City was handed a two-year European competition ban and a $32 million fine after UEFA found regulatory Financial Fair Play breaches regarding the misrepresentation of an owner-backed injection of money that was allegedly disguised as inflated sponsorship deals.

The Man City CEO accused the UEFA FFP chamber of being biased towards the Der Spiegel leak rather than take fair consideration of the evidence the club provided to the process.

Per the report: “ESPN has been told that Atletico’s players are surprised by the complaints, and said it is important to be ‘gracious’ in defeat as well as in victory, and that Klopp should focus more on his own team’s shortcomings, given that they ‘didn’t get a shot on target in 90 minutes.’

The Cadena Ser radio network said Monday a company used fake social media accounts to discredit opposition figures and some of Barcelona’s players when they expressed views that went against the club.
