A report from FCInterNews.it claim that the midfielder’s Agent has been in contact with the Serie A side recently to sound out a summer transfer.
Inter chief executive Giuseppe Marotta met with Eriksen’s agent Martin Schoots in the past few days in Milan in order to declare the club’s interest in Eriksen.
The source claims the meeting was a positive one between Marotta and Schoots and Inter are hopeful of getting ahead in the race to sign Eriksen on a free transfer next July.
However, while Shroots was meeting Inter, Jose Mourinho has confirmed he has spoken to Eriksen after the weekend’s win over West Ham in which Eriksen was a substitute.
The Portuguese boss said in his Champions League press conference ahead of Tuesday’s home date with Olympiacos that he has met with Eriksen, who is fully committed to the club.
“These important decisions obviously they have an influence on my decisions as a head coach, but the important thing is that Christian staying or leaving, he’s that type of guy who easily I could understand.
