A Tribute to Fallen Heroes, performed by the Westfield Community Concert Band, featured the national anthem and patriotic songs including God Bless America, The Stars and Stripes Forever , and the Battle Hymn of the Republic .

Rabbi Joel Abraham of Temple Shalom gave the invocation, and Vietnam veteran Joe McCourt, a member of the Memorial Day Parade Committee, served as emcee.

The program also recognized Konstantine Zoganas, Colonel, U.S. Marine Corps, Operation Iraqi Freedom, who will serve as the grand marshal of the 2018 Memorial Day Parade.
