The Boston Celtics are 5-1 straight up and against the spread in their last six games played at home.
The Celtics will try to pick up another home win and go up 2-0 in their first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks Tuesday night in Boston.
With Kyrie Irving out for the playoffs with a knee injury, the Celtics entered the postseason as the most vulnerable of the top four seeds in the Eastern Conference.
But since Irving’s injury sidelined the team’s star player in mid-March, the Celtics have gone a respectable 10-6 SU and 11-5 ATS over their last 16 games.
The Celtics have enjoyed success against the Bucks in recent seasons with an 11-6 SU and 12-5 ATS record in their last 17 games against Milwaukee per the OddsShark NBA Database .
The Bucks certainly looked up to the task of a series upset in Game 1, forcing overtime at 99-99 before eventually falling in the extra period.
The Bucks have struggled on the road this season with a record of 19-23 SU away from home, but they’ll need to steal at least one in Boston if they hope to advance to the second round.
