Former Indiana guard Victor Oladipo on likely All-Star nod: 'It's a blessing'

He’s averaging 24.2 points, 3.9 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game, and he’s likely to be named as a reserve when the full NBA All-Star teams are released Tuesday night.

It’s definitely a blessing to be considered in talks….It’s a team thing, so I credit them for all my success.

Oladipo is one of the NBA’s top turnaround stories this season, having finally lived up to the hype attached to him when he was selected second overall in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic.

He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder after three seasons in Orlando, before being dealt again the following offseason, this time to the Pacers.

He played three seasons under coach Tom Crean at Indiana, and as a junior in the 2012-13 season, he averaged 13.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.2 steals.
