Manchester United lead Swansea 1-0 at half time thanks to a goal from Eric Bailly.

Swansea defended well for most of the half and denied Manchester United any clear cut scoring chances.

For their part, United tried hard but couldn’t create much against a resolute Swansea defence.

However, United were not to be denied and when Kyle Naughton conceded a corner just before the first half, defender Eric Bailly ensured he slotted in from close range when the chance arose.

Swansea City had played a goalless draw against Southampton, away from home, in their opening League game of the season.
