For example, send out 10 resumes, research 5 companies and call 10 people in your network. This will keep you on track and focused.

3. Use Resume Distribution Services:-

• There are hundreds of jobs posting sites like nuakri.com, Times job, Indeed, Walmart Jobs etc.
• All with different information and formatting requirements, which can make managing your resume postings a very time-consuming process.

4. Employment Agencies:-

• Employment agencies are matchmakers.
• Some agencies recruit people for full-time jobs, part-time jobs, permanent jobs, others recruit people for temporary or local jobs.
• Agencies are listed in the yellow pages of your phone book under “employment”.

5. Direct mail: –

• In addition to this build a list of 20 companies that interest you.
• Get the name of the manager who runs the department where you want to work.
• Send your resume and a cover letter to each manager explaining why you want to work for them.

6. Interviewing Dress And Grooming Checklist: –

• No jeans, tanks tops, shorts, or very casual clothes.
• Be conservative.
• Careful grooming is a must.
• Spend some money for a good outfit if necessary.
• Consider an interview “uniform”.

7. Introduce Yourself:-

• Say something friendly.
• Prepare for the unexpected research companies before the interview.
• Ask for the interview.
• Sell yourself, but don’t push and don’t beg.
• Wrap it up and confirm the date.

8. Reward Yourself And Take Breaks:-

• Conducting a proactive job search can be one of the most stressful and frustrating jobs experiences you’ve ever had.
• Like with any job, you need to take breaks and have some balance maintain a fresh perspective, stay focused, and keep your determination and spirits up.

9. Always Have A “Plan B”:-

• The best time to accelerate your job search is when you’ve just had the greatest interview of your life.
• You’re feeling confident, enthusiastic and competent.
• This is the time to expand your networking, Also a follow-up on contacts and schedules new interviews.

10. Health: –

• Take care of yourself physically, emotionally and spiritually. Exercise and eating right can’t go wrong they are proven to enhance the quality of life.
• Think outside the box during your job search.
• Also look for unexpected opportunities; explore untapped skills and interests. Open yourself up to new possibilities.

If you want a good job, you must work at getting that job.

Go on a few “practice” interviews before interviewing your favorite company.
