“Spo is genius in all aspects”- Fans bring up Erik Spoelstra’s divorce following the renewal of his contract

Erik Spoelstra, the head coach of the Miami Heat, was granted an extension on his eight-year contract, which is worth at least 120 million dollars. Fans expressed their opinions about Coach Erik Spoelstra new contract with the Heat through the use of social media; some even brought up the timing of the contract about the dissolution of his seven-year marriage to Nikki.

In November, Erik Spoelstra, who had been the coach of the Miami Heat on two separate occasions, and his spouse, Nikki, announced that they were going to divorce after seven years of marriage.

They mentioned that, even though it was a challenging decision, they were able to come to an amicable understanding and eventually filed for divorce together. During a joint statement, the two individuals said:

“We are both grateful for our relationship and remain fully committed to co-parenting our children and making them our shared priority.” Nikki Sapp, a former cheerleader for the Miami Heat, was the recipient of Erik Spoelstra’s proposal on September 17, 2015.
