If Paksitan is also able to register a win against England in the next game, then the decider will be the net run rate. Pakistan must defeat England by a good margin so that it can help them improve their NRR. A good NRR can be a tiebreaker for both teams in the qualification of the semi-finals of the 2023 Cricket World Cup.

If Sri Lanka is able to defeat New Zealand and Pakistan wins the next game against England, Then, in that case, Pak will be able to qualify for the semi finals. Pakistan will hope on Australia Cricket Team or South Africa to defeat Afghanistan and keep them from scoring ten points in order to strengthen their position. But if Afghanistan wins both of their games, Net Run Rate will determine Pakistan’s destiny.
