The Golden State Warriors are currently on the road, heading to Sacramento to take on the Kings tonight. The Warriors are well aware of just how important this game is going to be for the rest of their season. Throughout the first half of the game, Stephen Curry and his teammates turned up the pressure, which helped them build their lead to as many as 17 points.

The Kings, on the other hand, have been on a scoring tear in the second quarter, bringing their deficit down to a manageable four points. Tonight, the Warriors will be without Andrew Wiggins, who is injured and unable to play.

The Kings have decided not to play any of their starters today, giving De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, Matthew Dellavedova, and Kevin Huerter the day off.

If the Warriors are successful tonight, they will be able to increase their lead over the rest of the field and possibly avoid having to compete in the play-in round.

Stephen Curry Lobbed the Ball to Klay Thompson

Yet, if they were to lose this evening, it would likely drop them all the way down to the eighth seed. Due to the fact that they were aware of this, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry played their best.

When one thinks of the Splash Brothers, one immediately thinks of sharpshooters who have the capacity to shoot out the lights. Yet, tonight, we got a glimpse of a different side of them.

Stephen Curry was in the middle of a fast break when he looked up and saw Klay Thompson moving in front of him. As a result, he lobbed the ball to Klay Thompson.

The news certainly took Klay by surprise as well, but he quickly rose to his feet, grabbed the ball, and slammed it home.

It was a hit not only with the spectators but also with the bench players and the players themselves! After a successful game, the Splash Brothers will be thinking about whether or not they should win tonight and then play Portland in order to secure a 5-6 seed in the Western Conference.
