Anthony Davis Deftly Avoids Questions Regarding Russell Westbrook’s Transfer to the Opposing Team

After being effectively expelled from the Lakers’ ranks by Darvin Johnson and LeBron James, Russell Westbrook is now history for the team.

No one will have happy memories of Russell Westbrook’s time now that the terrible two seasons are behind him. On the other hand, it would be incredibly incorrect to hold him responsible for all of the mistakes.

Russell Westbrook was a terrible match for the Lakers, and that’s the only sure thing we can say about this terrible experiment. Ironically, Russ has stayed in LA despite his most recent change of plans, which sent him to the Clippers.

His time with the Clippers has already begun well thanks to Paul George’s encouragement. He’s scheduled to play against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday.

Anthony Davis Is Coy About Russell Westbrook Joining the Clippers

AD, a standout for the Lakers and a former teammate of Brodie’s, was questioned by journalists about the decision. AD’s sharp response reveals how the Los Angeles Lakers feel about their former player.

When asked about Russ joining the Clippers, Davis showed little interest in responding. Given the unceremonious manner in which Brodie was traded from the Lakers, this appears to be the only response that anyone associated with the gold and purples can expect.

Because he doesn’t play for the Clippers, Davis initially asserted that he has no idea what will happen to Russell Westbrook and the team. He made it clear once more how little he knew about the Clippers’ locker room.

Anthony Davis abruptly led the conversation to its conclusion after being pressed further by saying that he doesn’t follow the Clippers.

Ty Lue Is Optimistic That Westbrook Will Join the Team

AD: “I’m not a member of their group.” I have no idea how they get along in the locker room or how they work together. Sincerity be damned, I don’t really watch the Clippers that way. Three of my kids are I can’t since I’m busy. “I know they got rid of John and Reggie, so he’s another point guard for them,” he continued. Although I’m not sure how Ty Lue will use him, I’m very certain he’s content to remain in Los Angeles.

Ty Lue, the coach of the Clippers, expressed his aspirations for Russell Westbrook. Russ, according to him, will handle most of the ball handling and will be a terrific addition to the club. He also expressed his belief in Westbrook’s capacity to make an impact.

“The ball will be in his hands,” said Ty Lue. You don’t average a triple-double without having the ball in your hands. We are confident in his ability to make smart plays.

It will be intriguing to see if Russell Westbrook is included in Ty Lue’s starting lineup on Saturday. A true test of his skills will be against the upgraded Sacramento Kings.
