According to Haas CEO Guenther Steiner, the 2023 F1 Las Vegas GP Will Be the Largest Event on Earth

The impending 2023 F1 Las Vegas GP, according to Haas Ceo Guenther Steiner, will be the largest display ever. The Grand Prix, which is slated at the end of the 2023 campaign, is thought to be the biggest competition in the history of the sport.

The sport’s organizers have made a large investment in the country as a result of the rapid surge in interest from American fans.

As a result, three races will be held in the USA this year: in Miami, Austin, and Las Vegas. The fact that Guenther Steiner is the team manager of the sole American team on the grid gives his viewpoint a lot of weight.

Guenther Steiner discussed the forthcoming F1 Las Vegas GP on Texan TV station KVUE, saying that while he can’t ‘evaluate’ Las Vegas in advance. Guenther Steiner knows it will be the ‘greatest show on Earth.’ Moreover, Guenther Steiner stated:

“Obviously, I can’t completely assess Las Vegas GP. But I believe we know the city and what to expect. It will be the largest show to ever take place on Earth. Although you may argue that we have an American rookie driver and an American team, I believe it will become even more intriguing for the United States in the future.”

For the F1 Las Vegas GP, Christian Horner would travel for ‘an extended weekend’

Christian Horner, the head of Red Bull, acknowledged that it will be difficult to add two more races to the current jam-packed schedule of 22 events (in 2022). However, a location like Las Vegas would only further the sport’s development and spectacle.

The Red Bull team manager told SkyF1 that he would like an extra weekend in South Africa as well as Vegas, saying:

“It might seem excessive when you talk about 24 weekends out of 52 in a year. But after seeing the new venues, you decide, ‘Okay, I’d absolutely spend an extra weekend in Vegas.’ I would surely add one additional weekend if South Africa was scheduled.”

Teams find it extremely challenging to handle the sport’s logistics, which need a lot of planning every weekend.

But given the popularity of the sport, it is not surprising that the organizers intend to add more events to their already full schedules in the upcoming years.

It will be intriguing to watch who succeeds as the king of Sin City later this year given that the Las Vegas GP is expected to be F1’s largest event yet.
